| Rotten Movie - Coming Soon to Your Area |
 The Golden Compass (starring Nicole Kidman) is a children's fantasy film whose goal is to promote atheism and denigrate Christianity. The movie is a mild version of the first novel in a trilogy called "His Dark Materials," in which the characters succeed in killing God. The atheist author admits he wants to "kill God in the minds of children." The movie premiers on December 7, and promoters hope that unsuspecting parents will take their children, who will so enjoy the movie that they'll want the book series for Christmas. We have created a "collectible" gospel tract that film fans won't be able to resist. Please consider getting these and handing them out at theaters where the film is shown.

| Ray is Coming to the Northeast |
 Hockessin Baptist Church, in Hokessin, Delaware, is holding their 2008 "More Like Christ" conference January 25-27. Ray will be speaking at the Ladies Dessert on Friday night, and at the Men's Conference from Saturday morning to mid-afternoon. Registration for either one includes a copy of The Way of the Master. | Christmas Care Idea... |
You can send small gifts to recovering American soldiers at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center through the American Red Cross. They are ONLY accepting phone cards, CDs, individual small packets of candy, things like that; which they will distribute among the soldiers (as they have a lot of in and out patients). Unfortunately they are not accepting Christmas cards, as they don't have the human resources to distribute them.

Scotty (Stuart Scott), have a passion for seeing the lost come to Christ. On their website you can find photographs from the "Way of the Master" television series that go all the way back to the very first episode. This couple is a continual blessing to the ministry.

Leaving Tract "Bookmarks"

I often go into large bookstores and spend around 15-30 minutes distributing tracts into certain books on the shelves, the magazine racks and the best-sellers/new releases tables. Because Living Waters has such a wide array of gospel tracts I can chose the right tract for the right book. For example, I put the Million Dollar Bill tracts in books in the money section, books by people like Donald Trump. I also put tracts into the Koran, and other popular Islam books (I usually use a simple, clear gospel tract such as "The Four Simple Laws" in other religion books), as well as other religions such as Hinduism, Buddhuism, Judaism, new age spirituality, magic books, etc... I believe this is a simple way to plant seeds of the gospel. Imagine someone who wants to learn how to make money opening their new book and finding a Million Dollar Bill! Then instead of learning how to make money that day, they learned about the real treasure, Jesus Christ!
Or how about the person who is "seeking" some form of "spirituality"
and instead God reaches them through a gospel tract in their "spiritual" book. There are many other examples and ways to use the many different Living Waters tracts in the bookstores. Be creative, plant seeds, pray for the people buying and looking at the books, and pray that the Lord will bring the harvest!
