on MSNBC TONIGHT
(3-31-04)
On March 8, Kirk was interviewed
on “Scarborough Country” (MSNBC) to
give his thoughts on The Passion of the Christ.
He did a wonderful job sharing the gospel. You
may like WATCH
the video clip. His example may help you transition
to the gospel as you talk with your lost friends
and neighbors about the movie.
He's getting another
chance to speak to the nation tonight on MSNBC
about the Left Behind series... he'll
be on a little after 7:00 p.m. Pacific Standard

The
TV Show
-- Ray Comfort
We have begun shooting
for the new season of our television
show, “The Way of the Master.”
We have five shows in the can at the moment, and
now that Kirk has finished filming the Growing
Pains movie and is back in Southern California,
we can begin shoots in Las Vegas (“The Greatest
Gamble…to say that there’s no Hell”)
and in Alcatraz prison (“Alcatraz, Al Capone,
Alcohol”). If you live in Las Vegas or San
Francisco, you may like to help us. Please keep
us in prayer as we produce these programs.
We had a great response to the show
at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Conference
in February. In fact, “The Way of the Master”
was the winner of the 2004 People’s Choice
Award (in the category of Ministry/Church/Teaching).
Networks all over the world are beginning to screen
the show. It is so encouraging.
My own mother (who is Jewish, not
Christian) is watching it each week way down in
New Zealand. Please pray that God would open her
understanding; her name is Esther.

schedule by clicking here. |

The
Passion Tract
We’ve reprinted
the Passion Tract (available through our sister
website LivingWaters.com) after selling out the
first 250,000, and now have plenty in stock. Easter
is coming up soon, so keep the momentum going
with this unprecedented opportunity to present
the gospel to those who normally wouldn’t
darken the door of a church.
I have never found it so easy to
bring up the subject of the gospel since the release
of this movie. When I get calls from telemarketers
or “wrong numbers,” I ask, “Have
you seen Mel Gibson’s movie yet?”
If they say, “Yes,” I ask, “What
did you think?” If they thought it was violent,
I say, “It all depends on your perspective.
If you understand how much we have sinned, then
it makes sense. For instance, do you consider
yourself to be a good person?” (Etc.) I
have been mentioning the movie when open-air preaching
each day. After preaching the cross, I say, “That’s
what Mel Gibson’s movie is all about. If
you see it, it will make the palms of your hands
sweat—it is so violent. In other movies,
you see someone get shot, and he dies. But this
violence goes on and on. When you see this one
Man suffering, realize that it was for you that
He was being brutalized. He was taking the punishment
for your sins.”
SPECIAL: If you order
200 or more of The
Passion tracts, available through our sister
website LivingWaters.com, we will give a tear-off
pad of 100 million-dollar bills (FREE) to the
first one hundred orders.

The
Way of the Master Book
Tyndale has just published
their 2004 summer catalog. It showcases
their new products to bookstore owners around
the world... And we're excited to tell you
that The
Way of the Master is featured on
page 19. Tyndale is also offering a nice
endcap kit (with Kirk's face on it) that
bookstores can set up to promote evangelism!
This is a chance for your local Christian
bookstore to stand up for what's really
important -- winning the lost. Why not copy
this information and take it by to them?
If they are interested in getting the endcap
kit and the books, they can call their regular
Tyndale rep (or Pam Hudspeth in Tyndale's
order services department at 630-784-5211).
Thanks! (P.S. Call Tyndale also, if you
are a ministry and you want copies of the
book at a good bulk rate price.) |

Million
Dollar Opportunity
You may have heard about a woman who was arrested
recently after trying to buy $1,700 worth of goods
at a Wal-Mart with a million-dollar bill. It wasn’t
one of ours, but it certainly has helped give
the tract
out. Look at this letter:
“I was in downtown Atlanta today with 100,000
other people and was almost stampeded to death
because I was giving out your Million-Dollar
Bill tracts. With that story in the news about
the lady using the million-dollar bill at Wal-Mart
last week, everybody wanted one! I was standing
at a really busy area near the Georgia Dome, where
a basketball tournament and a huge car show were
going on. As soon as someone said, “Hey,
that guy is giving out those million-dollar bills,”
it was unreal—everybody was lining up to
get one. Craziness. I kept saying, “Not
redeemable at Wal-Mart,” and everyone was
cracking up. Anyway, because of this story on
the news, these tracts are going to be really
hot for the next few weeks."
SPECIAL:
If you order 200 or more of The
Passion tracts, available through our sister
website LivingWaters.com, we will give a tear-off
pad of 100 million-dollar bills (FREE) to the
first one hundred orders.

| New
Digs
Our ministry has expanded into a
new building this week. We now have an extra 1,500-square-foot
facility that houses ten phone operators, which
will allow us to handle calls in response to the
TV
show. We had originally contracted with a
huge secular company to answer the calls, as we
didn’t have the means to handle the hundreds
of additional calls. We soon discovered that was
a mistake—non-Christians were trying to
answer questions about the ministry, and even
though we gave them a “script,” it
was the blind trying to lead the blind.
The
new offices are only 100 yards from our present
ministry. We have also relocated the entire television
production room there, as well as giving Dale
(graphic artist) and Anna (our webmaster) a new
office each. EZ moved there in a management capacity,
and Scotty (our sound man) joined the ministry
full-time.
The new offices also have a “showroom,”
which means that visitors can now come in to purchase
any of our materials. Our very first customers
came all the way from Mississippi (see picture
to the left). If you're in the area and want to
look at our materials, please drop in. The Way
of the Master, 9928 Flower Street, Suite 201,
Bellflower, CA 90706. Hours are between 8:30 a.m.
and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

| Reaching
Neighbors
Do you want to send a letter to
your neighbor sharing your concern for their salvation?
Now you can. Just go to www.anywho.com.
Click on “Reverse Lookup.” Type in
your phone number and it will pull up your name
and address. Most people
should be able to see their entire address, including
the street address (some people won’t be
able to – sorry.) If you can see your street
address, and it looks like a link, click it --
the names and addresses for your neighbors will
pop up. Now you can send them a letter or a tract.
Perhaps this would be a good opportunity to send
them the new “A Gift For You” tract.

Grab
a cup of coffee
and dig in. We
offer these stories
to encourage you
that ANYONE can
share their faith.
These are real
people, just like
you... if they
can do it -- you
can do it!
Life is
quick -- stay
focused.

Gothic Encounter
::..
This
one sent in
by John F.,
Hemet, CA.
I had about
a half an hour
to wait till
I met my wife
for lunch, so
I thought I'd
go into the
local Christian
bookstore and
ask to see their
"evangelism
section".
I already knew
going in that
there wasn't
much to look
at and thought
I could share
some Living
Waters tracts
with the girl
behind the counter.
I began showing
her some money
tracts ....
Next, I began
to ask THE question,
"Which
looks bigger,
the pink or
the blue?"
(Curved
Illusion
tract) when
a young man
covered in tattoos,
wearing dark,
Gothic clothing,
pierced earrings
and black fingernail
polish approached
and said, "They're
both the same
size!"
Not to be outdone
by his comment
I turned back
to the girl
at the counter
and said, "HE
doesn't listen
very well, does
he?" She
smiled politely
and I turned
back to the
young man and
said, "Listen
carefully, Which
looks
bigger, the
pink or the
blue?"
He played along
this time and
we all had some
great fun! Then
he said, "I
have a question.
I just saw the
movie The
Passion of the
Christ and
I need to know
what happened
next."
I said, "Did
you get one
of these?"
and handed him
a Passion
tract. TO
MAKE A LONG
STORY SHORT:
He said his
name was P.J.
and he had been
a Satan worshiper,
had a strong
attraction to
Vampires and
Horror films,
hated his father,
tried to commit
suicide but
after seeing
the movie, The
Passion
he wanted to
commit his life
to Jesus Christ.
He was accompanied
by a friend
("Amanda")
who listened
intently as
we talked. I
said, "Do
you mind if
I ask you a
few questions
and took him
through the
Law, Judgment
and destiny
and soon became
evident that
here were two
souls ready
for salvation...
...This week
I fully realized
the power to
swing from the
natural into
the spiritual
by simply asking,
"Did you
get one of these?"
GOD BLESS YOU
ALL!!!

On the Back
of the Bus ::..
This one sent
in by David
B., by email,
I was in Orlando
recently and
I was sitting
all the way
in the back
of a bus going
back to my motel.
I guy came on
the bus and
he looked like
what we commonly
call the "bad
guy". Missing
teeth, dirty
clothes, etc.
Guess where
he sat down?
Right next to
me. I wanted
to witness to
this guy but
doubts and unbelief
came up. I was
riding with
my sister (who
isn't familiar
with the [Way
of the Master]
at all) and
so I didn't
want to be embarrassed
in front of
her or look
foolish, like
a religious
fanatic. I sent
a prayer for
courage heavenwards
and addressed
the guy. We
started talking
and he turned
out to be very
talkative. After
a while I knew
all the churches
in and around
Orlando! Delibaretely
I then asked
him if he had
a Christian
background and
started witnessing
to him. When
I went through
the commandments
he only sat
there in silence,
nodding in conviction.
I then asked
him if he was
gonna go to
heaven or hell
on judgement
day and he replied
convicted: "Yeah,
I guess God
would send me
to hell."
Then I started
sharing what
Christ had done
for him and
his need for
repentance,
etc. I told
him to get right
with God tonight
and he only
thanked me gratefully
for
the tract I
had given to
him. Later
on my sister
told me that
we had forgotten
to get off at
the right station...
It was one of
my first witnessing
experiences
now I can clearly
see: God is
confirming his
word and encouraging
us to be bold.
All those fears
of men are for
the biggest
part unfounded
and almost like
a paralyzing
tool of the
devil to stop
us from witnessing.
Praise God for
his faithfulness!
